“Dear Ale and Lisa,
We have just managed to settle back in from our wedding week and wanted to send you an email to convey our greatest thanks to you for what was said by all, the best wedding they have ever been to and for me and Ste, a once in a lifetime day that we will never forget. We know that if we had tried to arrange this wedding ourselves we would never have had the day we did. From the mix up with the flowers that Ale handled without any fuss to the work Lisa has done with translating our requirements was simply unbelievable. You met our expectations and more with the venue at Villa del Cardinale.
Everyone and I mean everyone was blown away by the location and the view across the lake was simply breathtaking. Everyone thought it looked like a million dollar wedding and intakes of breath when they saw the view were made by everyone. The church was beautiful on the day and the choir were simply amazing. All our guests didn’t realise how long we were in the church for because of the beautiful surrounding and the way the choir sang. Many people cried at the Ave Maria De Schubert.
Also everyone thought the priest was fantastic and he made the service a joy to listen to. The words he spoke to me and Ste will be with us forever. Getting our photographs taken around Rome was amazing and to hear cheers from passers by made me and Ste feel really special. My dress was a bit of a handful but a little dry cleaner in the back streets of the Via Del Corso not only steamed my dress on the day before but she also cleaned my dress the next day which has come back immaculate. Finally, as said before the Ville De Cardinale was an exceptional location, as was the food. The guests couldn’t believe how much of it there was and the quality of it. My family are big seafood lovers, so the buffet was absolutely brilliant and far better than anything we could have gotten in England.
We are trying to arrange a party now for family who could not make it to Rome and the selection in England doesn’t come anywhere close to what we had there. The main courses where beautiful and everyone loved the menu and the room. One request we have and everyone has said it – Where can we get one of those wedding cakes ???? !!!!! It was absolutely gorgeous – well the little piece we had anyway! Even if we can pay for a frozen one from the Ville De Cardinale and get it shipped over express or if there is somewhere in the UK that does them?
As Ale has said we are friends now and we will keep you updated with movements in our lives and we hope you do with yours. Please let us know when your little baby is born Ale.
