The service provided to us by Hitched in Italy was absolutely outstanding. We had always dreamed of a wedding in Rome, but through our Italian friends, we believed that this would be a difficult and demanding event to organise. However, from our first encounter with Hitched In Italy at the wedding fair in Birmingham, we knew that we had found the right company. Hitched in Italy provided us with a thoroughly professional and personable service, and all the necessary expertise required to make our wedding a truly wonderful and trouble-free experience.

For us, Hitched in Italy stood out from the competition because of their flexibility and passion for our ideas and vision for our wedding day and complimented this with excellent ideas and local Italian expertise. We found that when we looked at other companies, their “packages” were rather formula-based, and didn’t encourage us the freedom to make completely independent choices. Lisa and Alessandra work extremely well together, and organised almost every aspect of our wedding. It was fantastic to meet Alessandra in Rome ahead of the wedding, and we had a wonderful time touring the various venues in Rome. Alessandra, who is based in Rome, managed all the legal aspects of our wedding, which was a great relief. In all the preparations, the communications back from Lisa and Alessandra were hugely reassuring.

On the day before the wedding, we met with Lisa and Alessandra to run through the order of the ceremony. We were so pleased that Alessandra would also be our translator during the ceremony – her English is excellent, and the arrangements were clearly laid out in detail. It was lovely that they could play such an active part on our wedding day, and it allowed us to focus on enjoying every moment. On the big day itself, both Lisa and Alessandra managed all the proceedings with the utmost professionalism and thoroughness, and our beautiful ceremony was flawless. We chose the fabulous Vignola Mattei – a small venue which was rebuilt from a monastery and stands in a peaceful setting in the centre of Rome.

After the wedding, our fantastic S-Class Mercedes took us and our photographer around Rome, and we had photos taken at all the magnificent locations that the city has to offer. When we arrived back at our hotel, we had a beautiful light lunch with our wedding guests before moving on to the evening reception. We have to say that Villa Del Cardinale is the most incredible location , it is simply breath taking and we still cannot believe we were fortunate enough to celebrate our marriage there. Villa Del Cardinale overlooks Lake Albano and is situated near to the Pope’s summer house at Castel Gondolfo. The views are simply stunning. We had a fantastic reception with champagne and canapes on the terrace overlooking the lake and watched the perfect sunset over Rome. This was followed by a fabulous Italian meal, with excellent service and a singer and pianist. Whilst always maintaining a discrete presence, Alessandra and Lisa ensured the reception went perfectly.

We cannot thank Hitched in Italy enough for making our wedding day such a special and beautiful occasion. There was not one single issue and it all went perfectly. Our guests, who had travelled with us are still complimenting us now on what a fantastic time they had and how smoothly everything went. Finishing on a practical note, we both feel that Hitched in Italy offers exceptional value for money, ahead of it’s competitors, without compromise to quality and integrity.

We wish you all the very best with your business for the future.

Many thanks,
