Lisa, the owner of Hitched In Italy, splits her time between the UK and Italy. She runs a family business which prides itself on friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail. The team will endeavour to provide you an affordable, stress-free and authentic Italian wedding.
Lisa Redgrave
I wanted to start Hitched in Italy, after planning my own wedding in Bagni di Lucca, back in 2008.
For the last 18 years the town has become my second home and so I feel very much part of the Tuscan community. I absolutely love helping couples organise their own weddings; from eloping couples to wedding parties of 200, to same sex ceremonies. I’ve proud to say I really have done it all!
With Lisa’s help and knowledge we and our 54 guests had the most fantastic few days and a wedding day we will never forget. The setting in Pian di Fiume was simply spectacular and the food was just fabulous!
We were keen not to have an overly proscriptive planner, and we were delighted that Lisa’s help was uninvasive yet proactive, and allowed us to create our own very personal wedding.
Hitched In Italy were instrumental in helping find our reception venue and making possible our Catholic church wedding. They guided us through all necessary steps and paperwork. During the wedding/reception Lisa and Isabella choreographed everything to run smoothly. We got so much more than we ever dreamed!
I liked Lisa after speaking with her she ‘got’ us and she promised she could create our vision within our budget, which she did wonderfully.
Hitched in Italy made the whole process an easy and thoroughly enjoyable experience. From organising the paper work right through to the flowers and finally the wedding reception, Lisa was on hand. Everything ran perfectly!
We will forever be grateful to Lisa for making our day so memorable…not just for us but our guests too, who haven’t stopped talking about it!
We were planning a wedding from 3000 miles away in the USA with no prior knowledge of our venue or caterer and, it was seamless (and easy!). We were all collectively blown away. She is very warm, patient, and positive.

With a bilingual (Anglo-Italian) team, based in both Italy and the UK, languages barriers won't be a problem! We can also provide interpreters.
